Job summary

Participate Learning seeks qualified Spanish language teachers to join ambassador programs in Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina. You will teach Spanish to students aged 11-18 and share your culture as part of a cultural exchange.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, have 2+ years of full-time teaching experience, and demonstrate strong English proficiency. Visa guidance, relocation support, mentoring and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We’re seeking:

Qualified Spanish language teachers with a strong English proffeincy. Are currently teaching, with training and experience teaching children aged 11-18 and at least two years of full-time, postgraduate teaching experience.

Subject & grade level

• Subjects: Language - Spanish
• Grade levels: Gr. 6, Gr. 7, Gr. 8, Gr. 9, Gr. 10, Gr. 11, Gr. 12

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor
• Teaching Experience: 2+ years
• Licenses & Certifications: Teaching Credential/License
• Additional School Requirements: Hold a university degree in teacher education or the subject they teach, equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. Demonstrate strong English proficiency for teaching and everyday communication. Hold a valid driver’s licence. Be available to teach with Participate Learning for at least two years. Meet the teaching and licensing requirements of the placement state, assessed during the application process.
