Job summary

Tierra Encantada in Windom, MN, is hiring a Classroom Assistant for our Pre‑K classrooms. The role supports teachers, creates a welcoming environment, and helps implement the Spanish immersion curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a pay range of $17.00–$19.00 hourly depending on education and experience. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and commit to 24 hours of annual training plus CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish required.
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Excellent communication with families and staff.
• Must obtain pediatric first aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and welcoming environment for children.
• Develop daily activities aligned with curriculum.
• Oversee daily classroom operations and cleanliness.
• Assess children’s development through observations.
• Implement Tierra Encantada's curriculum and lesson plans.
• Prepare for parent–teacher conferences with staff.
