Job summary

Tierra Encantada in Rochester, MN is hiring a Childcare Float for Infant classrooms. The role supports classroom coverage, cleaning, and kitchen tasks to ensure smooth center operations. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

The position is full-time, nonexempt, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM, with benefits and growth opportunities in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Strong communication skills with families and staff.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with center operations including breaks and openings; help in classrooms, kitchen, and cleaning.
• Adapt to different classrooms and teaching styles as needed.
• Support curriculum implementation and create a developmentally appropriate environment.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization; communicate with team to ensure alignment.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
