Del Mar College is seeking instructors to join a continuous pool for Spanish for Health Care Professionals. These are part-time, non-exempt, hourly positions filled as-needed across multiple locations. Applicants are contacted if interviews are scheduled.

Candidates must be bilingual with Spanish and English, hold a high school diploma, and be able to teach using varied methods and technology. Prior higher education teaching is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency.
• Ability to plan instruction and use varied teaching styles.
• Experience with instructional technologies.
• Knowledge of Medical Spanish.
• Preferred: higher education teaching experience.
• Experience developing lesson plans and curriculum.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned Spanish courses for Health Care Professionals.
• Develop and use diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Maintain attendance rosters and input final grades.
• Provide a written syllabus that aligns with course outcomes.
