Del Mar College Testing Center is seeking instructors for a Conversational Spanish course pool. This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, temporary hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Open dates begin 11/12/2025, with an open until filled status.
Candidates should have at least five years of related experience and be able to teach Spanish in healthcare contexts. Courses emphasize practical Spanish communication skills and classroom instruction using varied methods.
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. Conversational Spanish is an introductory course designed to enable the student to begin speaking and writing simple Spanish phrases as well as an understanding of the language. Emphasis will be placed on the use of Spanish words and phrases in everyday interactions and conversational settings. The class will use a variety of strategies and materials to accommodate multiple learning styles.
Minimum five (5) years related work experience.
