Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead classrooms, mentor peers, and deliver developmentally appropriate early childhood education. You will implement our curriculum, foster a safe, engaging environment, and partner with families to support each child's learning journey.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task
• Active CDA credential or NAECY candidacy
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications; CPR and First Aid certification or willingness
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work
• English communication with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
