UW Credit Union is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Personal Banker (internally titled Spanish Bilingual Financial Specialist) to serve members in the Milwaukee area. The role includes consultative sales, financial education, and helping members with accounts, loans, and planning for retirement.

Training begins January 4, 2027, with a focus on onboarding, learning, and hands-on experience at the branch. Included is a base pay plus a $1.25 per hour Spanish Bilingual premium, with virtual, classroom

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service and/or consultative sales experience.
• Demonstrated analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn a wide range of knowledge and continue to learn and develop your skill-set in a robust feedback environment.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and provide top-notch service.
• Demonstrated experience being flexible, adaptable, coachable, and collaborative in an autonomous and constantly changing work environment.
• Natural skill-set to lead and influence others.
• Proficiency with personal computer and office software.
• Must obtain and maintain Notary Public certification in accordance with state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Meet with members to learn about their financial goals and educate them on financial products and services.
• Open up accounts, complete loan applications, answer member questions, and handle transactions.
• Join weekly team meetings to learn about team updates, branch news, and new products.
• Understand all credit union products and services through training and self-guided learning tools.
• Call members to check-in and follow-up on new account activity.
• Partner with team members to meet goals for product sales and referrals.
• Be a leader at the branch and mentor teammates.
