Qualifications

• Master's degree in Spanish or related field with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in Spanish.
• Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Prior post-secondary or secondary foreign language teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with adult/non-traditional students preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to teach in flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Experience teaching blended, hybrid, and online classes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with curriculum and standards.
• Provide student-centered learning for adult learners.
• Provide timely feedback and fair assessment of performance.
• Maintain regular communication with students and respond to questions.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment.
• Submit syllabi, attendance, grades, and reports on time.
• Participate in department meetings or trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
