Job summary

Sandhills Community College seeks an Adjunct Spanish faculty member to develop curricula and teach Spanish courses within the University Transfer pathway at Pinehurst campus and partner sites.

The role focuses on delivering courses in-person, hybrid, and online formats, with regular office hours and active participation in department meetings. Faculty are expected to stay current in the discipline and support the college mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Spanish or Master’s degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish.
• Community college teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to teach in Online, Traditional, Blended, and Hybrid modalities, including dual enrolled high school students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare curriculum and teach Spanish courses based on departmental needs.
• Teach courses in-person, hybrid, and/or online at Pinehurst campus, Hoke Center, or affiliated high schools.
• Keep up to date on general trends in the Spanish discipline.
• Maintain regular office hours and attend departmental meetings.
• Submit reports and documentation in a timely fashion.
• Maintain records in accordance with college policies.
