Job summary

Brightpoint Community College is seeking a Spanish Adjunct Faculty member to join our on‑campus teaching team at the Chester and Midlothian campuses, with limited opportunities for online instruction.

Courses taught may include Beginning Spanish I & II, Intermediate Spanish I & II, and Spanish for Health Professionals I & II. The position supports on‑campus delivery and adapts to schedule needs throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Spanish or related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Spanish.
• Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Employment Details

Hiring Range: $793 – $1,693 per credit hour. Position is part‑time and exempt. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs. No required travel or vehicle operation.
