EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Teach Spanish curriculum courses in both the University Transfer and Associate in Applied Science degree areas. Courses are taught in traditional, seated, online, and hybrid formats. Other responsibilities will include developing course plans and tests, as well as identifying and assessing student learning outcomes; excellent communication skills with students and the Department Head; staying current with technology and technology-based teaching methods; keeping track of student work and attendance, as well as grading and returning student work on time; counseling students about their grades and progress in the course; and supporting the Department, Division, and University goals.
