Job summary

Intuitive Machines in Houston, TX, seeks a Test Engineer to join the AI&T team. You will develop assembly and test procedures, set up and perform tests on spaceflight vehicle components, and document results for qualification and flight readiness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 5–7 years of structural testing experience. CAD proficiency (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and familiarity with spaceflight specifications are preferred; strong

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
5–7 years of experience in structural testing.
Familiar with assembly tools such as torque wrenches and calipers.
Familiar with spaceflight specifications for materials, processes, fasteners, and components.
Experience with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Develop written assembly and test procedures.
Set up and perform tests of various components of space flight vehicles.
Support integrated testing, such as load testing, vibration testing, thermal testing, actuator testing, and document and submit final test results.
Developing designs and solutions to integration and testing issues that may arise.
