Job summary

EVONA, a pioneering aerospace company in Colorado, is seeking an AI&T Project Engineer to support spacecraft and vehicle integration, verification, and environmental testing activities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate and execute test campaigns for next-generation spaceflight hardware in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities include leading test planning, managing schedules and budgets, and driving continuous improvement in testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years' experience in AI&T, systems engineering, or technical project management.
• Experience with environmental test campaigns for aerospace hardware.
• Familiarity with NASA or similar aerospace testing standards.

• Develop test plans, procedures, and verification methods.
• Support assembly, integration, and rapid prototyping activities.
• Oversee environmental testing (vibe, TVAC, acoustics, static load, EMI/EMC).
• Manage Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and post-test reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across testing and integration processes.

This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate and execute test campaigns for next‑generation spaceflight hardware in a fast‑paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of spacecraft and vehicle test campaigns
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, facilities, and engineering teams
• Develop test plans, procedures, and verification methods
• Support assembly, integration, and rapid prototyping activities
• Oversee environmental testing including vibe, TVAC, acoustics, static load, and EMI/EMC
• Manage Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and post‑test reporting
• Drive continuous improvement across testing and integration processes

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Software Engineering, or similar
• 2+ years’ experience in AI&T, systems engineering, or technical project management
• Experience supporting environmental test campaigns for aerospace or complex hardware systems
• Familiarity with NASA or equivalent aerospace testing standards
• Strong project coordination and cross‑functional communication skills
• Experience using MS Project, Jira, or similar tools
