Job summary

Blue Origin Operations is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to lead supplier management, contract negotiations, and the material program strategy from front-end planning to fulfillment. You will oversee EVMS, budgets, and supplier performance while collaborating with engineering and project teams to meet mission objectives.

The role emphasizes capability in cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and adherence to FAR/DFARS/ITAR compliance with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years or Master's with 6 years in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience leading procurement, planning and/or talent development within a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP planning, BOM structures, and material estimating/Basis of Estimate.
• Track record managing complex technology projects including supplier NPI and readiness.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with defense acquisition, ITAR/DFARS and applicable regulations.
• Ability to influence leadership and manage milestones across programs.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and data-driven problem solving.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier management processes and communicate flow-through requirements to meet program objectives.
• Create statements of work, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing suppliers and contracts.
• Develop and execute the material program strategy from front-end through fulfillment.
• Manage program budgets, EVMS targets, and working capital related to materials.
• Drive supplier scorecards and performance metrics for informed decision making.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management to deliver on program goals.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and security requirements.
