Job summary

Axiom Space in the United States is seeking a resilient Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for QA of our software for ground and space operations, interfacing with design, safety, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
5-7+ years of Software Quality Assurance for human spaceflight.
Experience with AS 9100 audits and assessments is desirable.
Experience maintaining a CMMI level rating in software development.
Knowledge of QMS and quality processes in aerospace.

Responsibilities

Develop QA plans, processes and procedures for design, qualification, test, and acceptance.
Maintain and ensure our QMS for AS 9100 and CMMI compliance.
Support non-conforming product processes and corrective actions.
Lead internal audits and track CARs to ensure timely closure.
Produce quality reports and MA/SA status as required.
Collaborate with software, safety, and systems engineers to ensure quality across the lifecycle.
