Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career engineers to join multiple teams across our business units in Kent, WA. You will contribute to the software development lifecycle, participate in design and testing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate vehicle development and operations.

Ideal candidates have recently earned a BS degree and can start by Fall 2027, with hands-on experience in Java, C#, C++, Python, and modern DevOps practices including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2027.
• Experience with a modern, object-oriented language such as Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.
• Applying CS fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
• Solving problems by writing efficient, working code.
• Utilizing source control such as git.
• Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience demonstrating development of technical skills and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Engage in applied systems analysis, software testing, quality assurance, DevOps, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand needs and design solutions for vehicle development, testing, and operations.
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues at server and client sides.
