Job summary

Blue Origin seeks early-career engineers to contribute to software development across multiple business units. You will join a team that collaborates on vehicle development, testing and operations, working to analyze requirements, design, code, test, and maintain software.

Ideal candidates have recently earned a BS in CS/CE/EE, can start by Fall 2027, and bring knowledge of modern languages (Java, C#, C++, Python) and tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Graduated within the last year and able to start Fall 2027.
• Experience with Java, C#, C++, Python, etc.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Internship/co-op or hands-on project experience demonstrating skills and leadership.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the software development life cycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, maintenance.
• Projects may involve systems analysis, software testing, QA, DevOps, data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design solutions for vehicle development, testing, operations.
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues at server and client sides.
