Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with NX or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.xx and Y14.5 GD&T.
• Experience in mechanical and electronic packaging design.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and fabricate space flight electronics packaging.
• Coordinate with product delivery leads, technical leads, proposal managers, and project management.
• Lead design teams for hardware subsystems and components.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings, layouts using NX or equivalent.
• Plan fabrication and assembly work instructions for packaging and cable harnesses.
• Support hardware qualification and fabrication workflows.
