Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for the C-Shift to translate engineering intent into flight-ready hardware, craft BOMs and work instructions, and ensure manufacturing readiness across facilities. You will identify tools, provide on-floor support, and manage non-conformances to support safe, repeatable builds for rocket hardware.

The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field and at least two years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work a Fri–Sun

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 2+ years of engineering experience (excluding internships).
• Understanding of GD&T and mechanical design/manufacturing fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent into hardware with BOMs and work instructions.
• Identify tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside support on the floor.
• Generate, manage, and close NCRs.
• Support introduction of new products with build plans and tool lists.
• Fri – Sun 6am-6:30pm shift coverage.
