Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Test Engineer, ENG2 for NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. This on-site role supports test planning, execution, and data analysis for human health related spaceflight hardware.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and readiness for Artemis missions. You will craft test plans, conduct tests, and prepare reports while coordinating with customers and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science plus 5+ years of related experience is required.
• Experience with JSC projects and test facilities is highly desirable.
• Flight hardware development experience (2+ years) is preferred.
• Experience with lab testing and testing environments is a plus.
• Experience with pressure systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, setups and procedures.
• Coordinate test facilities and scheduling with service providers.
• Execute development, certification and integration testing of hardware.
• Analyze test data and write test reports.
• Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with project teams.
• Support on-site hardware and Johnson Space Center facilities.
