Job summary

Sierra Lobo is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for its Brook Park, Ohio facility to assemble, integrate, and test critical hardware for spaceflight applications. You will build PCBAs, mechanical assemblies, cable harnesses, and test fixtures for NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland while following NASA and IPC aerospace workmanship standards.

You will interpret engineering drawings, adhere to rigorous procedures, and maintain detailed logs per QMS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building PCBAs and test fixtures for spaceflight hardware.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with NASA-STD-8739.4A/8739.1B or IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum.
• Ability to obtain and maintain listed certifications.
• Proficient with microscopes, soldering irons, crimp tools, torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBAs, mechanical housings, and chassis components.
• Fabricate cable assemblies and harnesses.
• Build test fixtures for engineering evaluations.
• Perform precision cleaning, conformal coating, potting.
• Support integration and electrical testing per procedures.
• Document build steps per QMS and AS9100.
• Other duties as assigned.
