Job summary

Sierra Lobo in Milan, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Technician to support the reactivation and operation of a government-owned aerospace test facility. The role involves learning from senior staff and contributing to electrical system fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair.

You will work with low/medium voltage systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and testing equipment, with typical 7:00 AM–3:30 PM hours and potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
• Interest in pursuing a career as an Electrical Engineering Technician.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Completion of vocational or technical school relevant to electrical or controls installations is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
• Assist in the performance of: wiring, testing and instrumentation tasks.
• Work with low and medium voltage AC power systems, DC power systems, PLCs, raceway/conduit systems, and switchgear.
