Job summary

Kratos Space & Missile Defense Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Electrical Technician to support the manufacturing, testing and operation of advanced electrical systems for sub-orbital launch vehicles.

You will assemble electrical and electro-mechanical devices, build and set up equipment, and conduct qualification and acceptance tests under senior technical staff guidance. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIL SPEC Cable fabrication.
• Knowledge of power design/power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with electrical cabling.
• Ability to solder small cable assemblies and perform circuit card rework under a microscope.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid drivers license.
• Military communications or electronics experience or training.
• Knowledge and use of general shop tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work from ladder.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electro-mechanical devices.
• Build and set up equipment.
• Prepare and conduct qualification and acceptance tests.
• Perform system integration and testing.
• Operate support equipment during launch operations.
• Read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics for cabling.
• Travel up to 30% for integration and launch operations.
