Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior ORION Spacecraft Technician Electrical to support Kennedy Space Center operations. You will perform electrical assembly, harness fabrication, testing, and integration for spaceflight hardware.

Responsibilities include working from schematics and blueprints, using standard electronic tools, and possibly modifications and quality testing. US citizenship is required; a technical Associate-level equivalent and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
• 3+ years of experience or more in technical/para-engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Strong Electrical background from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.
• Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of production units or development projects with limited guidance.
• Works from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies and components.
• Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.
• A&P (Airframe & Power-plant) license.
