Job summary

Comcentric Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking an Avionics Technician for a 6-12+ month contract. You will assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for spaceflight systems in the Avionics Hardware Lab, requiring soldering, board work, and wiring.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 5am–3:30pm or Fri-Sun 5am–5pm. No third parties; W2 only. Responsibilities include building components, assisting with new designs with engineering, recommending process improvements, and supporting customers across

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.
• Experience with polymerics (staking, potting, encapsulation and conformal coating).
• Familiarity with ESD EPA and tool-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Build different components and assemblies for development, test and flight.
• Assist with assembly of new/updated designs with engineering to determine best practices.
• Provide input on manufacturing improvements and build changes for efficiency.
• Support internal and external customers across multiple systems and platforms for safe human spaceflight.
