Job summary

Blue Canyon Technologies, RTX's small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider, is solving some of the toughest challenges in space. The Test Engineer II will support test engineering tasks for the development, qualification, and acceptance testing of spacecraft components and systems.

On-site in Boulder, CO with hybrid options. The role involves writing automated test scripts, developing procedures, and working with flight hardware electronics in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers.
• Experience with writing and executing manual and/or automated test procedures.
• Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Ruby (COSMOS), and/or Python or similar.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and to be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Support the integration and test of components and/or spacecraft systems.
• Write, review, update, and implement test procedures.
• Use test and measurement equipment to perform advanced tests/troubleshooting on hardware.
• Execute, develop and modify test scripts.
• Maintain required test engineering logs and records.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule (with possible support on nights & weekends).
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department as well as other departments at the company.
