Job summary

Blue Canyon Technologies, a leader in small satellite systems, seeks a Test Engineer II to support development, qualification, and acceptance testing of spacecraft components. On‑site in Boulder, CO with hybrid options; salary range $80k–$120k, and strong benefits.

Responsibilities include test procedure development, automated scripting, hardware testing, and logs management. 2+ years in Test Engineering and a engineering degree are favored.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers.
• Experience with writing and executing manual and/or automated test procedures.
• Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Ruby (COSMOS), and/or Python or similar.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and to be a self‑starter.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2+ years of experience in Test Engineering or a related field
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast‑paced team environment
• Support the integration and test of components and/or spacecraft systems
• Write, review, update, and implement test procedures
• Use test and measurement equipment to perform advanced tests/troubleshooting on hardware
• Execute, develop and modify test scripts
• Maintain required test engineering logs and records
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule (with possible support on nights & weekends)
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department as well as other departments at the company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Other responsibilities as assigned
