Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking an Engineering Tech Support – Level 2 for our team in Dulles, VA. This 100% onsite role supports I&T of spacecraft components, reading work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

The position requires attention to detail, teamwork and adherence to ISO, cleanroom and safety protocols, with occasional travel and flexibility for various shifts. 2nd/3rd shifts possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years additional education/experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top‑Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and basic measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Assemble electromechanical and electronic components and assemblies.
• Support integration of spaceflight hardware with attention to detail, safety and quality.
• Follow ISO processes, cleanroom protocols, hazardous material handling and procedures.
• Communicate work status with management and leads; escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain organization, adaptability, and proactive mindset for mission success.
• Support off-shift, weekends, overtime and up to 25% domestic travel.
