Job summary

nLogic seeks a Spacecraft or Spacecraft Subsystem SME to lead subsystem engineering and integration for the ESS space vehicle in El Segundo, CA. You will drive critical design trades, validate interfaces across space, ground, and terminals, and ensure performance and environmental requirements are met.

This position supports the USSF SSC MSEIT effort in a collaborative, small-team environment using modern tools to tackle complex space and ground communications challenges.

Qualifications

• Current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance required.
• Strong coordination experience with space programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to operate effectively in high-visibility, high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for ESS Program Office in space vehicle delivery (mechanical, electrical, or test).
• Lead trades for unit/subsystem designs; oversee integration into spacecraft bus and payload.
• Ensure interfaces within space vehicle, ground, and terminal segments align.
• Develop and execute test plans; support space qualification testing.
• Foster strong collaborations with government customers, contractors, and teammates.
