Job summary

Orchard LLC in Mountain View, California is seeking Spacecraft Structure Design Engineers to join a team that designs spacecraft structures and secondary supports, generates drawings, and supports build and testing activities.

You will work with Creo to create drawings and models, oversee interfaces, and contribute to program-specific requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) and 2 years of experience.
• 2 years of experience in piece part and subassembly modeling in Creo or other CAD software and assembly drawing generation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop spacecraft structures and secondary supports.
• Generate engineering drawings and models using Creo and other tools.
• Support spacecraft structure build and participate in special projects.
• Lead and participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and management.
• Drive process improvements and disposition nonconformances.
