Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Structures Design Engineer in Palo Alto, CA to lead the design and development of spacecraft structures and secondary supports.

You will generate drawings using Creo and support integration of hardware within the spacecraft architecture. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 5 years of experience, with strong project management and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop spacecraft structures and secondary supports.
• Generate drawings and models, and manage engineering schedules.
• Support integration of subcontracted hardware into spacecraft systems architecture.
• Lead meetings with customers, vendors, and management to drive requirements.
