Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited school.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience performing structural dynamics analyses.
• Experience developing and utilizing finite element models (Nastran or similar).
• Experience with loads, vibration, shock, acoustic, and modal analyses.
• Experience supporting hardware testing and data correlation.
• Familiarity with NASA/SMC/MIL-STD aerospace standards.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamics analyses for spacecraft, payloads, and hardware.
• Develop and maintain finite element models to evaluate performance.
• Conduct loads, vibration, acoustic, and modal analyses for verification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve dynamics challenges.
• Support environmental test planning, execution, and model correlation.
• Prepare technical reports and present analyses for reviews.
