Job summary

Quantum Space is seeking a Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and mission assurance of our next‑generation spacecraft and supporting systems. You will perform reliability analyses, influence system architecture and hardware design, support environmental testing and failure investigations, and help establish robust processes for mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of reliability/mission assurance experience; senior candidates 8–10+ years.
• Hands-on experience with FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RBD, and reliability predictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RBD, and reliability predictions across parts, assemblies, and systems.
• Develop MTBF/MTTF analyses to support design trades and sparing decisions.
• Apply physics-of-failure, Weibull, accelerated life testing, and PRA methodologies.
