Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or materials science.
• 8+ years in reliability engineering or related high-reliability fields.

Responsibilities

• Own top-level reliability requirements, models, and allocations for spacecraft and constellation targets.
• Define HALT/HASS strategies, accelerated testing plans, and reliability growth programs.
• Establish reliability modelling frameworks (Weibull, Kaplan‑Meier, AFT, Monte Carlo, PRA).
• Integrate reliability analyses with program risk management and derive actionable design/test guidance.
• Flow down reliability requirements to subsystems, including margins and derating guidelines.
• Lead root cause investigations on hardware failures and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, systems, test, and manufacturing to embed reliability early.
• Mentor junior engineers in reliability methods and growth the function.
• Serve as technical reliability authority across multiple spacecraft programs.
• Own FRACAS and test-effectiveness tracking and close the loop with data.
• Partner to implement telemetry for degradation observability on flight/test hardware.
• Advance degradation-based and Bayesian reliability methods to extend the framework.
