Qualifications

• 5+ years of rocket engine test engineering experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace/mechanical/mechatronics or related).
• Willingness to travel to test facilities and work off-site for extended periods.
• Experience with engine test facilities and hot-fire testing of liquid engines and data analysis.
• Expertise in instrumentation, automation, and data acquisition with NI or Beckhoff PLC.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain best practices for all testing aspects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on testing methodologies.
• Review and sign off on test plans and reports.
• Support risk-based decisions with leadership guidance.
• Own the full testing lifecycle: planning, setup, instrumentation, execution, data analysis, and reporting.
• Apply a systems engineering mindset to testing activities.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define, document, uphold standards of excellence through training and review.
• Contribute to meaningful projects alongside exceptional colleagues.
