Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD seeks an Electrical Engineering intern to join the Spacecraft Power Engineering Group. Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • GPA 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Available for a 6-month (minimum) term in Laurel, MD.
  • Familiar with analog electrical circuit components and concepts.
  • Experience in DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion.
  • Familiar with basic laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, test, and deliver analog power electronics.
  • Learn to design and test electronic hardware with full‑time staff.
  • Develop analysis and simulation skills.
