Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh is seeking a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to plan, execute, and document integration and validation of spacecraft components and lunar infrastructure. You will collaborate with design, propulsion, thermal, and structures teams to ensure readiness of parts, procedures, and test facilities.

Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates moving to Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years integrating or testing electro-mechanical and/or fluid systems.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and lifecycle management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support design reviews from a DFMA/DFT perspective.
• Develop Test Plans with Systems and Design Engineers.
• Create and update Assembly Drawings with Design Engineers.
• Write detailed Integration Procedures and Test Procedures.
• Ensure readiness of parts, tools, and scheduling for integration and testing.
• Design ground support equipment and fixtures.
• Lead readiness reviews and participate in test readiness reviews.
• Execute integration and test procedures and analyze results.
• Operate test facilities (e.g., shaker, thermal vacuum).
• Prepare tests data and write Test Reports.
