Job summary

Apex is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern to contribute to the development of deployable satellite structures and gain hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing. You will work closely with a mentor and the broader engineering team, applying CAD NX skills to real hardware projects at our Playa Vista campus.

The role runs Fall 2026 for 12 weeks, with full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) options, and requires current enrollment in a BS or MS program with graduation

Qualifications

• Graduating in Spring or Fall 2027.
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS.
• On-site internship starting Fall 2026 for 12 weeks with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of deployable satellite structures.
• Assist with CAD NX designs and prototyping.
• Collaborate with engineers to learn aerospace manufacturing.
