Job summary

Apex Space, Inc. in Playa Vista, CA is seeking a motivated engineering intern to join the broader engineering team for a 12-week program. You will own a project with real impact and learn about satellite propulsion, fluids, and ground support equipment through hands-on work and mentor guidance.

You'll attend learning sessions, connect with peers and industry professionals, and gain practical experience in design, test engineering, manufacturing, and modeling for propulsion and fluid systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS or MS in relevant field
• Significant hands-on project experience
• Experience with fluids, fluid systems
• Experience with chemical propulsion and/or electrical propulsion

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and improvement of propulsion systems, GSE, and fluid systems.
• Engage in design, testing, manufacturing, modeling and hands-on build and test operations.
