Job summary

Nguyening Strategies Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Hawthorne, CA to design, prototype, and deliver critical spacecraft mechanical components and mechanisms. You will take hardware from concept through qualification testing and flight validation, integrating subsystems with other disciplines to ensure reliability.

Qualified candidates have ownership of complex hardware from concept to deployment, strong CAD skills, and a BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Electrical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong CAD experience for mechanical design and system integration.
• Experience owning complex hardware components from concept through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and deliver critical spacecraft mechanical components and mechanisms.
• Take hardware from conceptual design through qualification testing and flight validation.
• Integrate spacecraft subsystems and collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure system reliability.
• Perform analysis and testing to validate hardware performance in the space environment.
• Deliver flight-ready hardware that balances simplicity, ingenuity, and engineering rigor.
• Work on tight timelines to support spacecraft development and launch milestones.
