Job summary

Turion Space Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Mid-Level Spacecraft Integration Engineer to design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for complex spacecraft systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve anomalies and drive efficiency on the production floor.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on integration experience, with proficiency in CAD and MRP systems. Clearance eligibility (Secret/TS) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an integration, assembly, or manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and mechanical/electrical integration.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing anomalies (root cause analysis).
• Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance.
• Proficiency in CAD and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of manufacturing processes and changes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with design, production teams, and suppliers for seamless integration.
• Support project timelines, resource tracking, and performance reporting for production lines.
• Apply quality control standards and contribute to corrective actions for issues.
