Job summary

EVONA is seeking a detail-oriented Harness Engineer to support the development of state-of-the-art LEO satellite systems. The role covers design, development, integration, and testing of electrical harnesses forming a critical part of the spacecraft electrical system.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to ensure reliable power and data transfer while meeting EMC and space-grade standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical harness design within the aerospace/space industry.
• Experience with harness design standards and schematic capture tools.
• Ability to create and maintain harness drawings and documentation.
• Familiarity with space-grade materials and space mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical harnesses for LEO satellite systems, considering mission requirements and space constraints.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, and test teams to define harness specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed harness drawings, routing, connector selection, splicing, and termination plans.
• Ensure designs comply with IPC-WHMA-A-620, ECSS-E-HB-10-10, and space agency requirements.
• Conduct analyses and simulations to verify reliability and performance.
• Support fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of harnesses.
