Job summary

Rocket Lab in Littleton, CO is seeking a Spacecraft GNC Engineer I/II to lead GNC and ADCS development for our growing fleet of diverse spacecraft. You will work across the engineering life cycle including concept, flight software, requirements, design, tests, and I&T, coordinating with Systems, Avionics, Mission Operations, and Ground Software. The role offers a competitive base salary in CO, plus stock, benefits, and retirement options.

Base Pay Range (CO Only): $95,000 — $130,000 USD. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in GNC/ADCS or equivalent engineering degree.
• Experience interfacing with aerospace customers in commercial or government sectors.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead GNC and ADCS development for Rocket Lab’s spacecraft fleet.
• Engage in concept development, flight software, requirements, detailed design, integration & test, and vehicle I&T.
• Coordinate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software.
