Job summary

Aegis Aerospace is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Mission Design Engineer to support NASA’s Deep Space Logistics Engineering Support at Kennedy Space Center. You will model, analyze, and verify GN&C performance for lunar and cislunar missions, developing simulations and tools to assess attitude, orbit, and trajectory solutions.

Ideal candidates have a BS in aerospace or related field, 3+ years in GNC and mission design, and experience with Python, MATLAB, and C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in GNC & Mission Design outside academia.
• Experience with spacecraft attitude, orbit, trajectory simulations.
• Programming in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assess GN&C requirements, analyses, models, and tools.
• Create attitude, orbit, trajectory, and 6-DOF simulations.
• Support mission analyses for lunar/cislunar spaces.
• Coordinate across GN&C, mission design, flight software, and operations.
