Job summary

General Galactic in Los Angeles, California is looking for a Fluids Engineer to design and analyze critical fluid systems for spacecraft. The role demands strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and hands-on experience with fluid systems.

You will own the architecture of fluid systems and be involved in the development of cryogenic fluid systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, building, or testing fluid systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
  • Hands-on experience with pressurized fluid systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own fluid system architecture and integration for spacecraft vehicles.
  • Support cryogenic fluid system development.
  • Develop simulations and models to guide design decisions.
  • Perform fluid and thermal analyses.
  • Create engineering documentation for hardware.
