Job summary

Project Pearl is seeking an Engineering Technical Project Manager (TPM) to act as the operational backbone of the engineering organization, reporting to the Chief Engineer. The TPM will track deliverables and CDRLs, maintain schedules, manage the risk register, and drive tasking across subsystem teams and suppliers.

This role requires on-site presence at supplier facilities in the U.S., U.K., and Europe, collaboration with Cognizant Engineers and DRIs, and frequent international travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of technical project or program management in spacecraft/defense hardware.
• Experience managing CDRLs, deliverable registers, and contract milestone tracking across multiple vendors.
• Proficiency with Jira or equivalent tools; experience with MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Strong risk management and discrepancy tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cognizant Engineers and DRIs to reflect technical decisions in schedules, tasks, and CDRLs.
• Facilitate technical working sessions and capture action items with owners and due dates.
• Be on-site at supplier facilities in the U.S., U.K., and Europe during key program phases.
• Own and maintain the program's master deliverable register and track CDRLs end-to-end.
• Coordinate with engineering leads and supplier program managers to ensure milestones and review gates.
• Develop and maintain engineering-level schedules and manage risks and watch items.
