Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or an equivalent technical degree (e.g., physics, applied math, industrial design)
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
• Bonus: design of complex assemblies and vacuum-compatible systems

Responsibilities

• Model and draw components, structures, and manifolds for the spacecraft and supporting structures
• Maintain and improve the design library and data infrastructure
• Develop, ideate, and document considerate practices that enable good and efficient design
