Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Spacecraft Design CAD, Mech Engineer to translate engineering intent into production-ready CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Embedded in a cross-disciplinary team, you will manage CAD data through the full lifecycle, support change control, and help ensure producible designs for satellite systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, iterate, and manage CAD designs for large spacecraft systems; ensure model integrity across complex assemblies.
• Produce and release engineering drawings for parts and assemblies per Leo standards.
• Manage CAD BOM through Teamcenter from design to manufacturing release.
• Collaborate across mechanical, thermal, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Engage with suppliers for CAD data packages.
• Assist in identifying manufacturability and source review.
• Support change management workflows and design data integrity in PLM.
• Maintain CAD database organization and naming conventions.
