Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Littleton, CO is seeking a Manager to lead the Spacecraft Flight Cable and Harness Design team. You will guide electro-mechanical design, development, and production support for harness systems across missions.

You will develop training material, mentor engineers, and coordinate with program leadership to ensure schedules and technical status are communicated clearly. U.S. citizenship and DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with a STEM focus.
Prior experience with Cable/Harness design.
Creo Parametric Cabling proficiency.
Prior experience as a technical lead.
US Citizenship; ability to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, functional management and technical direction to a team of engineers responsible for electromechanical engineering research, design, development, and production support for the Harness Spacecraft Flight Team.
Coordinate with functional groups during the product development life cycle and communicate technical status to leadership and customers.
Develop and maintain training material to establish consistency across the team and onboard early career engineers.
Build and maintain training content on 3D MCAD (Creo Parametric Cabling), harness design principles, and design for manufacturability.
Recruit, train, and assess performance of subordinate employees and participate in technical reviews.
