Job summary

Xona is seeking a Production Line Lead to serve as a go-to technical leader on the production floor, focusing on hands-on spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing. This role collaborates with the Production Supervisor, Production Planner, and cross-functional teams to meet schedule, quality, and safety targets.

The Lead will mentor Production Technicians, reinforce production standards, and escalate issues affecting safety, quality, or delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience performing mechanical and/or electrical assembly in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal lead role, coordinating production activities and providing technical guidance.
• Certified IPC‑JSTD‑001 Specialist (CIS) and IPC‑A‑610/IPC‑A‑620 certifications are preferred.
• U.S. citizen/permits may be required for security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and rework of spacecraft components and subsystems while guiding Production Technicians.
• Serve as the first line of support for Production Technicians.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Production Planner to meet daily priorities and schedule.
• Adhere to safety, cleanroom, ESD, FOD, and contamination-control practices on all activities.
• Develop and clarify assembly, integration, and test instructions to improve quality and repeatability.
